Specialista in Chirurgia Generale di vasta esperienza, consolidata in campo nazionale ed internazionale sia in ambito pubblico che privato.
Il Prof. Amato svolge, insieme all’attività didattica accademica, importanti studi di ricerca i cui risultati sono stati pubblicati nelle più importanti riviste scientifiche mondiali.Il Prof. Amato ha elaborato le seguenti innovative tecniche chirurgiche:
